ABOUT THE CLIENT

This hotel with 166 rooms is one of the largest hotels in the Krkonoše mountains. All of the rooms are three-star quality and are located in the two wings of the hotel. Both wings are connected by a glass corridor. The large Wellness & Balneo Centre includes a swimming pool, sauna, fitness centre, 2 massage rooms, two large hot tubs, an infrared sauna and tanning room.

ONSITE POWER MICRO POWER PLANT

Installation of a cogeneration unit with heat output of 253 kW covers most of the hotel’s heat requirements. The gas boiler, as a bivalent source, is only used to provide additional heating during the winter months. Cogeneration covers heating requirements not only for heating of the hotel, but also for heating the swimming pool and heating hot water for wellness and other services which the hotel provides. During the winter months, it covers more than 90% of electricity consumption, thus significantly reducing payments for renewable sources of electricity.
